Starting Over

I’m starting over today and I’m very comfortable with taking this journey. My main goal is to get down to around 185 but I have decided to do things a bit differently this time around. I made my journal public because I really want to share my journey with others for inspiration, and also for my own accountability.

I am intermittently fasting. I fast from 8pm to 12 noon. My diet consists of lots of veggies and lean meats, with a focus on low-carbs.

Today I did my Monday workout.

I walked for 15 minutes to warm up.
25 jumping jacks
3 sets of 10 dumbbell bench presses (25 lbs each)
3 sets of 12dumbbell curls (10 lbs each)
3 sets of 10 dips
3 sets of 15 sit-ups

I cannot lie...the dips and the sit-ups were very difficult. I almost gave in while doing my sets but I’m very determined not to fail.

For lunch I had a beef stew with beef, zucchini, squash, and many other veggies with a beef stock. For dinner I’ll be having baked chicken, a salad, and a cup of cherries.

I’m really motivated to lose the weight and that’s what I’m going to do!

Welcome back to your journey! I'm extremely excited to see the results that come from your hard work. The only thing between you and your goal are discipline, hard-work and time; and you are on top of all three! Great workout as well, and great dietary choices.
